Got out there for a few hours this evening after it cooled off some. Started by punching and throwing a frog and missed 2 pretty quick. Then nothing for a longgggg time so I kept swapping lures. The wind had finally died down some so put a whopper plopper on and started casting parallel as close to the reeds as I could and the first bass startled me on the hit so bad I'm glad I had 6 hooks to get it with! Then I spent over an hour throwing the bait and caught 1 more on it. Both of these bass were small- maybe not even 12" but I was thrilled to have em!
