Fish the old man weekday tournament, launching at daylight and weighing in at 2pm. Anyone that is off on Wednesdays is welcome to come fish :-*

I only had 8 bites all day but they were good ones. Missing the two jig bites I had, the rest came on a frog throughout the day Catching 5 of the six strikes. My five fish total was 19.86 good for the win.

Water temp was right at 80. Weather was right at 90 and no wind / no clouds. Lake clarity is super clear. Salvinia is pretty bad, especially for being so early in the summer. The dollar pads/lilly is out of control.

That's a good bag! We went to Bistineau a few days ago, but didn't do much good. Salvinia is gonna be bad this summer. It was already starting to mat up in Spring Branch. Little Red Chute near Hog Island was choked up with huge mats and pretty much impassable.

I heard up the lake at Hay Meadow, Tulans, and Tydus arms are all bad as well.

Makes me sad every time I go there. It's not the same lake I fished as a kid.
