Fished Black Lake Campti for Thursday Friday and tournament on Saturday. I fished south of the bridge on Thursday. I caught fish here and there in 4-5 feet of water. The 20 mph wind made it miserable to fish most places. I caught them on spinnerbaits and jigs with the biggest being about 3.5 pounds. On Friday I fished north of the bridge and experienced pretty much the same condition and results. Tournament day I went to a cove north of the bridge that I got a couple bites in. I thought since I had to idle through so many cypress trees to get there that it might not be that popular LOL I was beat there and then 4 boats came in and fished it with us. I managed 5 bites before 10AM one being almost 4 pounds. Then it quit on me and I had to start moving around. Managed just 6 keepers all day good enough for 14.5 pounds and third place. Winner had 17 plus and was fishing close to where I was at so at least I was on the right track LOL

Water temp 71-75
Water clarity was 6-12 inches
Salvinia is nearly non existent

Fought the wind for three days. Tournament day was mostly cloudy with occasional sunshine.
