Fished Flamingo with a good friend of mine yesterday. We arrived at 6:30am and launched before dawn.
When we reached one of the first bays, we knew the North winds were going to be factor.

When we arrived to our first spot, as expected, the wind made conditions tough.

We moved to sheltered area, and all we caught were saltwater catfish.

Moved again and found mangrove snapper and juvenile goliath hole. We each landed a goliath and caught several mangroves.

Tried our hand targeting snook, but unfortunately they weren't cooperating.

All in all, we had a fun time despite the conditions. Looking forward to our next outing!! ;)

As much Fun as I am having in the "Marshlands" on my newly configured "Marsh Rat"  ENP is my Favorite Place on the Planet!!
The fishing will get better and better moving through spring and into summer, and because of the "Buggy Ness" and heat the anglers will be fewer and fewer.
You guys did a great job at adapting to the March Winds.....

Thanks bud, happy to hear your enjoying the Marshlands. ENP is an awesome place, and as the conditions become tougher, ie heat and mosquitoes, less people will go. Great place to plug out from the world.
