Wow.  15-3 for a largemouth in Tenn.

Has anyone here gotten close to that?

What 's your largest and what did you catch it on?

Mine is a whopping 3.5 lbs on a spinner bait on Pickwick in 2012.  I caught it 10 min after launching from the state park ramp and the size went downhill all week...

Mine is an 8.27 lb largemouth caught on a finesse C-rig caught on a transmission line from gravel to sand in 12 ft. of water

When I was teaching classes for Masswildlife I watched the wife of a fellow instructor catch a 12.33 pounder on a live shiner off a bridge piling on the Charles River not too far out of downtown Boston. She was leading the In-Fisherman regional records for about 3 months with that fish.

I know Mike has one over 12 that landed him in the pages of BASSMASTER Lunker Club

My largest bass in Tennessee was caught during a Ultimate Bass rally on Dale Hollow. We caught a ton of smallmouth and had a fantastic time. My biggest was a 5.25 caught on a shakey head (was the first time I ever fished them). I thought she was an absolute monster but by Dale Hollow standards she was just a baby with the lake record being the state record nearly 12 pounds  :shocking:
