Recently had the ramp on the front of the trolling motor mount break on me. Easy replace through the attached link below.

When replacing the ramp, found a couple missing bolts for the side plate - they had loosened over time and had fallen out - lost forever. Purchased a couple replacements at my local Ace Hardware store as well as some Threadlock. Added Threadlock to all the bolts so won't have the same issue in future.

Over the years, I've had to buy a number of parts for my Minn Kota trolling motors and I have yet to need anything that they haven't had in stock, even on some quite old ones.

Kind of strange that those screws worked loose like that. I think I'll go over the screws, nuts, and bolts on my Ultrex, and maybe everything else while I'm at it.

Swede tks for sharing this with us.   I damaged mine during Fishing for Freedom.  I pulled it off and straighten it out as much as possible.  I need to just replace it.  I check my bracket bolts and screws on a monthly basis.  It is weird how they'll work loose.

If you've had your Ultrex for a couple of years, you've probably lost a bolt or two you didn't know about and most all the others are loose!  I have to tighten mine every few months after I lost one in the water and one on the deck I was able to put back in....

I went over it yesterday, everything is still tight. The only screws/bolts I found loose were the windshield and dash screws.
