Update on my Alumacraft MV1448NCS build

Up date on my MV1448 boat build

After fishing with this Alumacraft MV1448NCS one or two times a week for several months I'm really happy with it. I'm still considering a few additions or changes but haven't made a final decision yet. If I ever do this again there are a couple things that I'd do different.
It handles well in winds up to 15mph and I can run in 14" to 16" of water with the bow motor. It's easy to tow, launch and load.
I only have one battery in it and can fish 6 hours in 15mph winds and still have 60% battery charge left. For the way I fish I think I can avoid the weight of a second battery. I don't think I'll need a second battery.
The problem I have with this boat is that the bigger fish seem to avoid it. The 12" to 14" dinks love it though. I've had several 15 or 20 fish days.

Thanks Mike. I appreciate the compliment. This being my first attempt at anything like this I'm actually surprised myself about how it turned out. I learned a lot and if I ever do it again there's a few little changes that I'd make but for the way I'm fishing right now it's perfect for this old man.

Thanks Steve. I appreciate the compliment. I'm not sure about professional but for my first attempt at something like this I'm happy with the way it turned out. I'm gonna make a few small changes this off season.

Thanks Don. After fishing out of it for the first season I plan a few minor modifications this off season but overall I'm happy with it.
