FDX Custom Rod in my Soccer Team colors

Previously know as the "Chicken Stick"

I put together a quick video with the very limited footage I had where I introduce my Liverpool FC Custom rod from our very own FD.
He created a very purdy 7'3" MHXS rod that I will be utilizing solely as my main Free Rig. This is the rig that I use the most throughout the year compared to other rods / rigs, so this rod is going to get USED.

On the day I filmed the video, the fish didn't cooperate, so the rod didn't get the full test. I did hook into four 12" dinks with this rod last week, not a real test of power / strength, but I was very happy with the sensitivity and feel of the rod.

Below are some photos of the rod with some very nice touches added by FD.

For anyone interested, the "YNWA 96" stands for "You'll Never Walk Alone" with is the clubs slogan dedicated to the 96 Liverpool FC fans that tragically lost their lives in a sporting incident (Hillsborough Disaster) in 1989. After receiving the rod from FD, the 97th fan passed away all these years later from a long term illness suffered back in 1989.

Enjoy those custom FDX rods Steve. Those blanks are awesome, hopefully you get into some bass soon to experience them.

I was supposed to be fishing this weekend Lou, but I need to work on Sunday, so I might go next weekend and give them a workout.
