stopped by Kentucky lake (Eagle creek area) on way home just to poke around some of the backwaters I'd seen from I-24 on my drive to Gibson County.
water temps were 89°F.  wind speed <5mph.  water clarity about a foot.  saw activity as predators were slashing thought the bait pods (small frye about 1.5 inches long).  Got one to go on a  tube off a mainlake point and another short on a topwater.  3 hours and trailered up to head home.  plans were to stop off at Tims Ford... but when I got to the ramp and got a good look at all the crazies out on the lake, was time to head to the barn for good.
on a 'positive' note: welcome to Kentucky lake.  fishin' so easy all you gotta do is drive around and let 'em jump in the boat.

Yep heard lots of stories about those fish.  They sure are ugly.  Tks for sharing the trip and picture with us.

Glad we don't have those here yet. Seems like it could get dangerous.

Thanks for the report
