What ewg hook sizes do you use for each senko size
I learned for other baits 2/0 for 2" bait 3/0 for 3" bait but was wondering what to use for senkos as it seems like you usually use smaller hooks for them

Gap sizes like 2/0 3/0 etc . should not be based on the length of a bait, it should be based on the thickness of the bait.

A  7 in. bait that is the same thickness as a 4 in bait would use the same gap size.

Length of the bait determines the shank length of the hook (not the gap size).

What size would I use for senkos then for each sizes

For most common Senko sizes :

4" Senko : 3/0 Gamakatsu EWG
5" Senko : 4/0 Gamakatsu EWG

*Gary Yamamoto likes one size smaller EWG hook size than I have listed above , however I believe you get a little better "glide on the fall" and more positive hook sets with the one size larger EWG hooks I have listed above . I also like the hook sizes I have listed as it puts the hook point slightly further back in the Senko (i.e. hook point is a little further back in the Senko egg sack).

I'm going to guess 5/0 for 6" senko
6/0 for 7" senko

Not necessarily. At least imho. Manipulation of the gauge and size of the hook, changes the action of the stickworm. Especially in the fluidity of a senko specifically. That said, I'm saying to use a 1/0 on 7" worm. But using a 4/0 as an example on the same 7" senko can really change things in certain situations.

I use a 3/0 or 4/0.  I personally wouldn't use a EWG. The bait isn't thick enough to need it and I think the less hook hanging from the bottom the better a Senko fishes and the more free the back of the bait is the better..

I used to use a 1/0 eagle claw with a wire spring guard in grass, it was a good size, the hook didn't tangle with grass and they hooked up well.
