Unfortunately I skunk in this tournament.

Very cool stuff... Is it a tournament rule or lake rules that life jackets must be worn at all times? OR am I seeing camera harnesses?

It is a National rule/law that a life jacket must be worn at all times on ALL watercraft, sea and freshwater, include float-tubes, kayaks etc.

Gotcha.... They have just instituted a mediatory kill switch here. But we still just have to have the life vest in the boat, which makes no sense...

Makes no sense at all.
I have got to the point where I almost don't even feel the life jacket even after a full day(s) on the water.

I remember one pro/am tournament last year. The boater fished with his wife and it was a cooler day weather wise and during moving from spot to spot on the big motor his wife would put on a jacket over her life jacket. The won the tournament by quick a large amount of weight, but were disqualified due to the life jacket under her regular jacket
