We had a cold front move through couple of days ago, and it was blowing pretty hard yesterday as well as today. 15+ mph from the North. The cloud cover intrigued me, so I stepped out for a couple of hours and walked the banks of my neighborhood canal, or "ditch" as my Northern brethren call them.  lo lo
Well, my "ditch" was pretty damn productive today. Ended up catching 8 bass, fishing a stick worm slowly along the bottom. Once I identified the zone the bass were holding, it was just a matter of patience and covering water. Towards the end of my outing, I was on a high bank, cars were lined up across the canal, watching me as they waited for their light. Working the worm ever so slowly, I felt the tell tale tick... I reared back and laid into a beauty!! After figuring out how I was going to land her, I successfully brought her up to standing ovation of cars honking.  lo lo That was pretty cool!!  lo lo

She measured 22" and weighed in at 5.5lbs
