A Hidden Gem?

I found a cool looking area behind a buddy's house. It's a swampy looking wet spot that is in the middle of an environmental area. My buddy said that he waded it years ago looking around and it has a good sandy bottom. I plan on grabbing my waders this week and seeing if there are any fish in it. Now I just have to figure out what 1 rod to bring? I'll post up my findings after I go.

I don't know, I waded a local lake several times a couple of decades ago and all I can remember about those days is my neck hurt at the end of the day after I kept turning around and checking for gators the whole trip.
