My niece Viki was rushed to the hospital unconscious just a short time ago. She is in the ICU with a brain bleed.

Prayers, positive thoughts, whatever you've got. Please.

Thank you everyone. No updates so far.  I have tried calling my brother and her other siblings but I haven't gotten a call back from anyone which has me a bit worried for her.

I will update as soon as I hear something.

Try to stay positive!  I know the feeling, my mother was rushed to the hospital a few months ago and trying to get answers out of my little brother was not an easy thing.  Just stay positive!

My niece is conscious!    She is reasonably coherent but has moments where what she says is not making sense. If she continues like this today they will take her out of ICU but will still be keeping her for a bit. They still don't know what caused the brain bleed so are trying to figure out a course of treatment and whether or not surgery will be necessary.

So, not out of the woods yet but a definite improvement.

Update: Viki has been out of the ICU since yesterday afternoon and is holding steady and responding to treatment pretty well.

Getting details is still a bit like pulling teeth. I do know they are saying if all continues as it's going she should be able to go home sometime next week.
