I wanted to touch on this subject because some tournament bass boats carry upwards of 60 gallons of gas. My Puma has a main under seat tank and 2 saddle tanks in the rear. If the gas becomes old and separates, it is a danger to the tank and motor. Startron makes a product that brings old gas back to usable condition.
My wife's SeaRay had about 200 gallons in the tank when I had my hip surgery. We were unable to use it for 4 years. Take off the gas cap and the smell... So, I called the dealer to get the tank drained, cleaned and hoses replaced.  Using the cost of on-the-water gas, tank cleaning, hoses and etc., the cost would be between $2-3k. The dealer called and told me of the Startron Fuel Renew product that would make the job less costly. The product was put into the tank and next day the gas was usable. All for $37. We ran the 4 year old, 200 gallons of gas through the MerCruisers without a problem. Use the  product to winterize your tank and gas and be free of problems come Spring.

Thanks for the idea I have people ask me all the time what they can use in their fuel when it gets old
You got to believe in something and my wife told me to go bass fishing so I do!

Bo, some of us aren't able to launch our boats in the winter, they'll bounce instead of float. lo lo ;)
Thanks for the tip Wizard, mine will be going on almost 2 years, while I used Marine Stabil I'm not real confident.

What is the exact name of the product? I couldn't find anything on fuel renew

The product is StarBrite Enzyme Tank Cleaner. StarBrite is the parent company of StarTron. The product cleans all varnish, gums, gels, mineral deposits and disperses water thru out the gasoline. This allows gasoline up to 4 years old to be used in the tank. Their testing used gas up to 20 years old but they only say 4 years on the container. It even cleans rust from the tank.
A call to MarineMax techs revealed you MIGHT have to put in a new fuel filter after using all the fuel.
