ABA District 48 Caddo Lake #2 of 2020 Season

I know it is early to start posting about this tournament but I want everyone to make sure that they have this marked in their calendar.

This tournament is the Saturday before Thanksgiving. I know it is cutting it close but it was the weekend that was open and not in conflict with other tournaments.

If you are wondering about how the tournaments work or what you are working for, here is a quick summary. Locally we fish 10 tournaments and a 2 day championship. There is a National Championship that happens in October every year and that is what you are working for. There are boats and money that are won at that event. I believe that this year there were at least three boats that were won. To get to the National Championship all you have to do is FISH 4 of our local tournaments and the 2 Day Championship. Out of the 10 tournaments that we have you can pick any 4 that you want to fish and you qualify to fish the 2 day championship here locally. By fishing those 5 tournaments you qualify to go to the National Championship and have a chance at winning a boat and more. Membership is $35 and you can join at any time!

Tournament fee is $70
The lake fee is $5
Big Bass $10

The crazy thing about the lake/late fee is that you can pay via the ABA website and you will be charged a $5 fee for the privilege of using the site and a credit card, or You can pay at the lake and you are charged a $5 lake/late fee.

Or you can save some money and pay through the website for multiple tournaments and only be charged one $5 fee no matter the number of tournaments you pay for.

There is also a $15 side pot that is collected at the lake. The angler that wins the side pot is the angler that finishes highest in the tournament that is also in the pot. (Side note: almost everyone gets in)
