Carp and pike help

I fished this new place and these carp would see my bread and they would suck parts of it off
Also i used a wacky worm and daredevle and the pike didn't like it what do i need to do

Can't help ya with the carp question.  While l was living in Alaska I use Spinnerbaits, Top Water Baits and Buzzbaits for pike fishing.  I even caught a few on plastic worms and jig and pig combinations.

Never mind figured out the carp 2 of the four spat the hook and had a huge pike try to eat the second one I caught no sign of them again scared the carp off and the one that just came out of the weeds got spooked so easily
Idk why the pike didn't go for the lures i through after i caught and released the carp

Got one on the daredevle
Escaped net before i could measure so for now on im using muskie net
My estimate is 30" 6lbs
