Wacky rig finesse wide gap vs octopus

Do you guys do better with finesse wide gap hooks or octopus hooks as some guy said they did better with1/0 octopus hooks and my bites have decreased (used to use size 2 eagle claw live bait hooks until it broke when i was unhooking catfish I caught on wacky rig

I usually use #1/0 circle hooks, with a no knot cinch on it, works best for me.
I've caught everything up to small sharks with em.
