What is the best trout lure not counting spinners as i use that for my other pole
Jig,wacky rigged trout worm ect
I fish irondequoit creek

Not quite sure where that is but their not running by me right now but people usually get them on spoons (little clios and KO wobblers) and spawn sacks.

My grandfather was a guide on the White River. He used chrome or gold spoons for brownies. Compared to the shape of a Daredevil, they were long and narrow. He made his own and made long and narrow spoons so he could fish them faster There are trophy Browns in the White River. The World Record Brown lived in the White.

Spawn sacs never work
Most guys either get them on jigs or spoons or spinners
But after loosing 3 spinners in 1 day ive decided to use 65lb braid and a  2ft steel leader
Mepps vs spoons (use size 5 algia dressed)
And what setup for my other rod with 12lb fluorocarbon
