Took a few tries before we finally found a solution that worked. Hope this helps someone!

Good Tip.


Here's another. Before putting the New Pin in the hole, rub a bit of Vaseline on the shaft of the Pin. Vaseline does not dissipate with water like many greases do and will make removal next time a breeze.

I had one stuck one time and could not get it out. Ended up having to remove the Base and tossed it everything was so rusted. My Marine Mechanic then told me about the Vaseline Trick. Never had one stick after that.

Roger that! I use it on my deer feeder legs to keep coons from climbing up the legs. Also took a 3/4" bronze wire brush on a dremel and polished the hole up good.
