Thursday nighter... River dinks...

[No Excuses]

We moved our Thursday night Tournament from the lake to the local river this week. The tournament actually originated on the river, but with crazy spring and summer rains the past couple years it's become a mainstay of the lake. some of the local river guys won't fish the lake. Myself I can donate to the pot on either, lol. I had a decent night, boating 8 or 9 fish. Had 2 decent and three barely over the 10" river minimum, for a 5 fish weight of 4.3lbs. Winning bag was 12.3 with a 4.9 big bass. They were fishing an old slough off the river. Second was 7 and some change and 5 or 6 boats were in the 4-5 lb range. Oh yeah, and I was fishing looking right into the gates of hell.... At least it felt like it... We start at 5:30 and by 6 my fat butt was questioning my sanity.
