I have fought my share of these toothy critters over the years. I was always amazed at the brute strength of this animal. Being hooked up and in mid battle and you see the fish and it is seems to be almost casual in it's movements but at the same time they are kicking your butt. Then you have to have the battle at the boat where the fish decides to go under the boat. Landing one of these fish requires some patience and for sure a net does not do much good for a fish this size. Thank you for the video it brought back some memorable moments.

Was trying to measure it when it slipped away, was more concerned about the well being of the fish. I would say mid to upper 40s in inches
