Anyone have any experience with these? If so, what models and what did you think? I'm intrigued by them, but haven't seen many people talk about them.

I've fished the original version some. I thought it was decent. They were the first rod with micro guides that I can recall.
Would depend on what model and price range your looking at and what your wanting to do with it.
For a moving bait rod I'm sure any of the mid tier models would be fine.

Mid-tier is what I would be looking at for a crankbait/jerkbait rod. Wheeler signature or Micro Magic Pro probably. Something in the $150ish range.

The crankbait rods are pretty moderate in action. maybe a little long and slow for a jerkbait rod.

I have three Micro Magic ones when they first came out.  I really like them, but then again, I am newer to bass fishing and never tried a Dobyns.   I have the Cranking rod (DFMM76cc) and I really like it.  That is the favorite of the bunch.  I also have a Flipping rod (DFMM710XHC) which is an extra heavy power.  For me, I am only 5' 8", it is a little too long and is like a telephone pole.  Have never caught anything on it, but then again, I don't fish it much, but now that I have a boat, I probably will.  I also have a Spinning Rod (DFMM70MLS) that I also like.   I think I heard they too though were having issues with breaking.  I think I heard that at the Guntersville Rally, but I honestly don't remember the whole story (alcohol was involved).  I know I do have Duckett's Cell Phone number afterwards  ~roflmao

I also have one of the Carrot Stix that are known to break as well, so my choice in rods probably isn't the best  ~roflmao
There is nothing like sharing any moment outdoors with someone special!

I have three of them. 7'6" micro, 7'6" ghost heavy action, both bait casters and 7' micro spinning med heavy. They are all workhorses. Overbuilt. I fish in multi species waters and they have no problem handling anything from greens, browns, northerns to walleye. Wouldn't recommend these lengths for Muskie or Salmonoids. I have no complaints with them. Have used their customer service twice to send me cork ends and they were good about getting replacements to me. They even sent extras.

Good to see ya John. Hope all is well up your way. I could see where a Muskie or a big Salmonoida might trash the longer rod.

I owned a MicroMagic. A visitor who was fishing with me snapped it on a cast. I paid their replacement cost sending in the section of rod with it's identification. When I received the replacement I gave it to someone who needed a rod.
