Marburg report

Finally shaking the cobwebs off.

Air temp was low 60's with increasing clouds. Wind gusting over 15 at times.

Water temp right at 50 and visibility only a couple feet for the most part.

Was out for little under 3 hours and got one big girl to chase the chatterbait in about 5 feet of water off a laydown.

Agreed zip, about damn time.

I honestly thought I was hung on a branch. I was running the chatter and felt a thud so I set the hook but the rod just stayed loaded. It was just heavy. She gave me one good head shake and I realized it wasnt a branch.

Now if only I could actually submit it for IBASS!

Beautiful fish. PA is really producing this spring.

I've always found that chatterbait fish usually feel like they're trying to rip the rod out of your hand when they bite.
