I fished Silver Lake located in Brinson GA - in the Silver Lake Wildlife Management Area (north side of Lake Seminole) yesterday. Water temperature 63 degrees. Bass have yet to find comfort in heading shallow to spawn. I caught a half dozen of them in areas outside what I would call normal spawning grounds - nothing over a couple pounds. Targeted crappies/specks primarily this trip. Found a few willing biters (9) in 10-15ft with a white Roadrunner Jighead and BPS Triple Ripple Grub in threadfin shad color. Fish were 13-14.5 inches. They made for wonderful table fare this evening breaded with Zatarain's Fish Fry.

How does Lake Seminole look?  High?  Muddy?

Seminole remains high, but receding. Here's a link to water level at Woodruff Dam on Seminole.

Thanks for the report Swede and some nice looking Crappies. It's just about a month and a half before I start my yearly Crappie fishing trip and I can't wait. ~c~
