picked it up at academy.  Taking her to the range tomorrow for a couple hundred rounds.  The trigger is amazing out of the box on this.

A nice 9mm, Joe. Hope you get years of enjoyment using it.

Thanks Wiz!

I was torn between the easy conceal of this one with the great trigger and the slightly better stock grip of the Glock 43X which had a decent trigger.  The glock trigger was just a little less to my feel versus the P365.

The main advantage the Glock had was the grip size, even with the pinky extension the P365 was small in my hand.  But, as soon as I found out there was a 12 round mag that fit my hand much better I went with the 365.  the 12 round mag is in the picture.

Looking forward to hearing what you think once you've put some rounds through it. My Oldest son is looking at the same piece. He's thinking of replacing his G19 carry with it.

P365 has become VERY popular in my neck of the woods. Along with the G43 and the Springfield Hellcat.....which is exactly the reason I won't get any of those lol. I have to be different. That said, the P365 seems like a very nice piece, and obviously you have Sig quality

The 365's are sweet. I have debated getting one myself a few times.

Nice looking gun. I would have took the Sig over a Glock any day.  ;)

Joe, concealed carry isn't defined by the weapon but by the man behind it. Don't worry about the size of your hands but about the size of your heart. Your's is very large.

That was one of my choices I was looking at a couple months aga.  I liked the feel of the Hellcat better in my hand.  I went with the Hellcat.  This is a nice gun though.
Enjoying retirement in the great Pacific Northwest.  I've turned into a fair weather angler.  Why do it today when I can do it tomorrow?

they didnt have any hellcat's -- they had everything but that.  M&P shield, glock 43x, glock 19, 365, 365 xl, taurus..etc

i liked the M&P Shield -- except the mag release and insert mechanism.  Seemed to much like a "dry fit" if that makes sense.  like i wouldnt want to have to deal with it if the rubber met the road and i needed to reload

I have found I prefer metal and wood over polymer, for looks and for feel. I also don't like DA/SA for consistency sake. All that said, i have a little Springfield 911 (Sig P938 clone) tucked appendix every single day and don't even know it's there

Looks like a good gun, will look forward to range report. Bought a Shield 2.0 a month or so ago.

Let us know what you think about the 2 point 0 after you get some time on it. I almost bought one back during the holiday sales but just couldn't with all the other presents I was buying..

I've run about a hundred rounds through the pistol. So far it's dead-nuts reliable. The one thing I had to change out was the sights,I installed a set of Ameriglo Ken Hackathorn that work much better for me. I've had to change grip mechanics to accommodate the gun as I am used to shooting a Glock 30SF. The Shield feels a little like a toothpick. The grip texture is quite aggressive,if you have soft hands you'll hate it. Working now on a carry load using a hornady xtp 115 gr bullet and some Bullseye. Supposed to go back to range this week, but it hasn't worked out. Trigger on mine is usable, but nothing to write home about.

put 100 rounds through the Sig today.  The grip seems a little small still but it works and i adjusted to it.  Might pick up something to make it fit my paws a little better.

shots started out left and low, dont get me wrong i still hit the paper  lo and they would have counted as kill shots(just some serious bleeding from a perp); then remembered to breath and squeeze.  It had been over a year since i shot a pistol.  Once i did that -- yea, this gun is awesome but the trigger is really really good.  Just enough tension but not enough to make it not efficient.

caddyjoe77,sounds like a good gun to me. The shield trigger I have could use a little tuning, not sure I want to get into it though. I might just learn to live with it.

300 rounds in. Not a hint of a problem. Shoots as fast or as slow as you want. She ate 22 rounds in a very very short period of time.

Still need a couple hundred to trust completely but so far so good.

If it has a fore weighted barrel (bull barrel), the weapon will return to target upon recoil. Without a fore weighted barrel you may have to let the weapon recycle to regain the sight picture.

Hey Joe,

Any more updates on this since you've had some time with it now? I'm looking to pick one up for myself now. Thanks.

Sure, no problem.

PIcked up another 400 rounds and put 200 though her.  Shes gotten really hot several times -- like 30 rounds as fast as i could shoot them.

I would pick it up if you can.
