I had to cancel my epidural Friday, woke up with 102.

Wife took me to family dr this morning. Test confirmed I do have the flu.

2 tiny pills and that's it. Thank God for samples with my crap insurance. I started craving water and oranges Friday. I ate 3 oranges and chugged at least 12 water bottles

Bad news for sure. The Flu and no epidural. Your body has to be hurting from a double whammy. Hope you get some relief soon.

Just damn. My Dr sent me straight to the ER yesterday.
Xrays, checking for infections, pneumonia etc.

3 breathing treatments, steroids, nausea and pain meds since I missed epidural. I walked from the door to wheelchairs and I might as well been hosed. I was wet down inside my shoes.

I actually thought about getting my affairs in order.
Dr said it was just a horrid flu strain that wasn't in this years flu shots and I was just half way through it.
