Looking for info on this body of water? Anybody fish it?

While ive never fished it, ive heard some serious stories.  At one point people expected the next state record to come out of there.

Thanks for the info. I'm reading conflicting stories that some are saying it's UNBELIEVABLE fishing and then others are saying that ever since the grass carp were introduced the fishing has been depleted.

I can definitely see that, but i thought the cover in that place was primarily wood since it's basically a flooded valley?  I heard years ago people could hardly launch anything other than a canoe because the trees were up so high, and so thick, that it was difficult to navigate? 

That was years ago so i'm sure a lot of that structure has depleted, so who knows?
