Also I decided I'm just gonna save up and get the Fury 705CB, although it'll be a hard sell to get my dad to let me drop the cash on it full price. Thanks SteveTX and Zippy! Caitlan posted today on the Dobyns Rods Community page on Facebook that all models except the 735CB are still available.

Both she and Chelsea are out of the office today so if you call please be patient and either Nathan or Blake will help you out as soon as they can.

Yep I was put on hold when I called a little bit ago, but it wasn't that long of a wait. Besides I will wait forever to buy more fishing equipment! lol

Update: I spoke to Nathan this morning. THe 736CB is gone. There is stock in all the other models but the 744 and 745 are going fast. For clarification, shipping is 20 bucks on rod or seven. They have also been getting re orders so this look positive. I bit the weinie and ordered two for next Christmas. We always get to open one package early.

I was thinking of ordering one for my wife. She loves fishing light bottom contact and the sensitivity would probably suit her well at an even better price.

I've had to resist the urge to order one of the 7' panfish rods. That's the one I really wanna try the most and the one I think Gary might get the least feedback on. But after just buying the DC 736 CB Glass rod and Tatula 200 the wife would shoot me if I ordered another rod right now.

I guess I'll have to wait till they come to production and get me one then.

The 713c and 713sf were both considerations for the wife. She throws spinning pretty much exclusively but mention interest in learning a BC. I bought her a cheap girly spinning rod a few years ago not thinking she would even use it but loves it so I figured it's time to buy her something she will really enjoy.

I called early and got the second to the last KD 735 CB rod. It arrived yesterday and I just now had a chance to get it open and take a few quick pics. I just moved this weekend, so it's a bit crazy right now. Anyway, here a few pics of the Kaden 735 CB.....
