Aww come on now.  :-* Grab up some plastic and go hold some .45s.  Everyone needs a nice 1911 in their lineup. They actually shoot really nice when you get a quality model.

I hear ya on the Christmas wiping ya out though. Good luck holding off the gun monkey.  lo

Check out Classic Firearms website for some good LE turn in deals too.  Not good for the ole wallet!  I bought a Tokarov M57 7.62 X 25 from there.  Haven't gotten it to the range yet, but can't wait.  They used to site them in for 80 yards!  I am looking to buy a .357 SW 686 with a 4 inch barrel soon.  Yeah, I can feel your pain!

~bb ~bb I've decided that you can never have too much fire power... the zombies are coming one day and either I'll get to play or my grandkids can have them to play...

Most of the sales are probably just about over, so might have to wait until New Years!

Well the 7.62X25 is perfectly capable! Love that round. I prefer the CZ52 only because of the sleeker design, but the Toks are actually quite a bit stronger built. Still, never heard of the 52 flying to pieces.

I have a friend with a manufacturer's license who built a full auto carbine around that round. I asked him why he did it when he already had a full auto Russian PPSh. He said just because he could. Imagine something that looks like a strange love child between a Thompson and UZI. It's a hoot to shoot, just don't stand next to anyone else while they shoot it even with eye and ear protection. His muzzle brake has top AND side ports, and the muzzle blast will damn near hammer the soul out of you.

I have heard it shoots flames out the muzzle.  Can't wait. I bet it is even more cool if it had all those ports!

For those who want the performance of a 357 Mag in an auto loader, it's the closest they'll get without buying a Desert Eagle.  Those Ruskies were a bit on the wild side chambering a handgun for that round. I want one myself, may have to look into it. Having more and more trouble with my hands these days though, and considering selling one of my guns that I'm having trouble with. Can hardly rack the slide on my FNS9.
