Recently bought this Giant Dog X from our Classified section here on UB. Thanks again Pantera61. I love these style baits. Looking forward to breaking in this lure in on Lake O tomorrow. ;)

Hey Lou, are the pictures I'm seeing online of the bass in Lake O real? Apparently caused by some chemical that is being sprayed in the water. Care to shed some light on it?

As for the bait, looks like it should produce. I love a good spook style bait. I've been throwing the Showerblow's a lot lately. Check them out if you haven't already.

Fishballer, I have not seen the Lake O bass you are talking about, but you are the 2nd person that has mentioned this in the last day or so. Can you direct me to where you have seen this. Send me PM if you like.

Great looking bait. I throw the clear/chartreuse and white python often.

I just found this post!
There's no word of success.  How did you do?
My apologies for being remiss in a follow-up.

No apologies needed. The trip was a bust, it was a pretty bad fishing day, didn't get to use or even try the lure. :(  When I do however, I will post about it. :) Thanks again .

Still catching them on Super Spooks so don't see a need to spend money on more stuff to clutter up boat which carries far too mouch gear now. lo

Yeah I need a extra boat or a trailer for my boat to haul the tackle.  lo But ya know us addicts. Seems we cant pass a lure up almost as if we were the fish being caught.

Bassinlou Im looking forward to some fish pics.  ;D

Slow for everybody and his brother, it seems 😎
Last time I was out, I dropped my first ever dropshot fish at the boat.  Time before that, I was fortunate enough to pick up 2.  Had the skunk in the boat for 5 trips before that.

Heck I'd like to go fishing period, just to much going on. Hopefully soon.

been catching on an A-Rig and Jerkbait.

tried topwater once -- meh.  I did find a spot of still healthy green grass, and did get blown up but it was more like a roll over.

tried throwing one of these, spooks etc.  Nothing really doing but a lot of it IMO, is in the day and how the sky looks.
