Picked up a Dobyns fury 735c on cyber Monday sale at TW. I needed something a bit heavier for frogs and maybe if I learn to start pitching a bit. Need to stop buying rods and reels for a bit so I can save for a kayak or maybe real bills, but who does that.

I'll keep you posted. I like my even cheaper colts so I'm sure I will. I almost went Sierra but opted to save that for a technique that needs the sensitivity more.

This was the first time I didn't. Figured 4 or 5 days, no biggie. Now that I think about it, its also more times for a rod to get handled and potentially damaged. 2nd air is on a plane for most of the trip.

For some reason when I was adding to cart the old saying "Go big or go home" just mysteriously went through my head.  Im absolutely sure some shad get that big but I should return it for another 6" Bluegill. That Bluegill is awesome looking.

Still deciding on what rod I am going to pick up for these.
