Another great trip to Millers Ferry with my buddy John as we put over 100 keepers in the boat in 3 days of fishing. Weather was great with air temps form low 40's early to low 70's in the afternoon with mostly clear skies, water temps ranged from 73 in the main lake to 64 in the back of one creek where we caught most of the fish and visibility of 2-3 feet. Caught fish on SK 3XD and chrome Booyah 1 knocker in the main river and white spinnerbaits, chatterbaits and Zoom speed worms and baby brush hogs in the creeks. No big fish this trip but a lot of 2-3 pounders and a ton of 1-2 pound fish. We were lucky enough to find a 100 yard stretch in the back of our favorite creek that was loaded with shad and bass and had a blast pitching your bait up against the clay bluff and as soon as it hit the water one would hammer it. All in all another great trip to remember.
Retired and loving every minute of it!

Great trip!  One thing about Miller's Ferry, it's a hero or a zero, as you well know.  That place has gave me some of my best days along with some of my worst!

Congrats on your trip  ~c~  ~c~

I recall a recent trip to Millers Ferry were I went almost 2 days without a nibble so you really enjoy the good days.

Exactly what I'm talking about, but one thing for sure, when she's on, she's on fire!!!
