First Snakehead Caught in Georgia - Gwinnett County

The Georgia Department of Natural Resources' Wildlife Resources Division recently confirmed the presence of the non-native northern snakehead fish (Channa argus) in Gwinnett County.  This is the first documented occurrence of snakeheads in the wild in Georgia.

Wow!  That just what we need,  something else for large mouth to compete with.

I saw something else earlier today that is not good.  There are 4 lakes in Georgia that have Giant Salvinia in it.  This is some bad stuff....
