2019 UB IBASS team tourney Official thread

Yes it is time to start signing up for my favorite tourney of the year.
Start signing up now so I can make teams up. Sign ups end at the end of September and teams will be paired up on October 1st before I leave for Guntersville.

Please make sure you can get out and catch some fish before signing up. The guy you get paired with may want to win this thing.

Thanks and let the fun begin.

For those that were not involved last year, we pair a Cool caster ( Northerner ) with a Hot rodder  (Southerner ) and count each guys best five lengths. We had lots of fun and laughs with it last year.

Are we able to use the same fish from the Classic for the team tourney? Or do we have to catch two limits this month?

I would never expect you to catch two limits.

Well the four Cool casters are from Pa. We just need two more Hot Rodders.

Is there an official sign up location or is here sufficient? Maybe I can learn I thing or two about fall fishing from my fellow PA residents. They kicked my ass yesterday with a big goose egg.

I didn't want to get another skunk certificate lol I'm running out of room to hang them up.

The bank is a tough place to fish especially when the inaccessible side has the cover!

I know all about how tuff bank fish is cause most of my fishing is done from the banks. But I still give myself them skunk diplomas no matter what and it sounds like you got another one coming.
Zippy I'm going to go out fishing in the next few days and if I can prove to myself that I can still catch a Bass around here then I will get in the contest.

I think there is a different thread for the trash talking lol. I'll take my lumps. I earned them, or maybe more accurately I didn't earn not getting one.

Me too zippy and I promise to do the same. To keep this on topic like I said I'm going fishing in the next few days and if I can catch a Bass I will get in on this also.

It's a good thing you all pointed out that there is a separate trashin thread since I was going to mention here that I thought it strange at first that three hot rodders who will all be fishing from the same boat at Gville didn't enter the competition. But now it all makes sense since I remembered that all they ever catch are catfish anyway. So I won't mention it here.

I'm flexible either way Zippy, if we have too many cool casters for teams, I'm fine with skipping too.. my fishing will be somewhat limited, with deer season, but I think I can put a limit together.

Stan you are in it. I have a few ways to get around it. Even if I fish in both divisions. Which is a good chance.
