The rod I have been wanting arrived while I am at work.  :help:
Does anyone think that an Xtasy arriving is grounds for taking personal time?  ::)
I mean I was only on vacation all last week, you think they would miss me.?  ~shade

This must be what heck is like. >:D

I will put pics up when ever I get home, if this night ever ends.  :'(

WOW! The Drx755c is light, powerful, and plenty of tip action. I was pleasantly surprised by how much tip is on a mag heavy rod without giving up the backbone. Now the rod itself is a piece of art. Beautiful cork, end cap, and three distinct different grains in the graphite.
Where the logos are it is smooth, just past is cross hatched and textured, and finally the rest of the rod is textured but just plain black.
The Torzite guides are smooth as a babies arse. Line just slips through them.
I bought this rod for frogging but I think it will be better as a jig rod. I can't wait for that first thump on it.

Very nice rod. What are you mating it with?

So, how does the DRX 755 compare with the DX 745?

I can't compare as I never had the DX745 in my hand.

Now compared to every Dobyns and LSCR I've held and used it is the most sensitive rod I've touched. I used it with a 1 0z. jig today with it and I'm telling you I knew when I was hitting rock, wood, and weeds, sand or mud, after I quit setting the hook on bottom contacts. I also threw a 1/4 0z. belly weighted craw and was able to drag it through brush piles and knew exactly what it was doing. All this on Flouro. I plan on using 50 lb braid on it when the new reel gets here.

Ok, thanks for the reply. They are amazing rods.  I own a DRX 723 and love it.  Was wondering which one I should get next.  Just wondering should I send in my DX and upgrade to a SRX.  But hopefully someone can give me a comparison first.  Don't know how different they fish.

The Xtasy has a bit more power in the middle third of the blank.  The tip is also more responsive.  You can really tell how much nano resin comes into play.  The balance as Zippy now experiences is so neutral the rod feels much lighter in hand.  Happy for Zippy.  Awesome stick !!

Got to play with it all weekend. Wow. I just need to seytle down on hooksets. I set on many phantom bites.  I was t-rigging in the weeds and it horsed them out with no problems.
