If you are in the videos for info, then you need to check out David Dudley. That man is all fishing. Some hate him still for tactics he used early in his career, but he knows the game, and knows the fish.

I watch him also!  He was at my favorite local tackle shop in the spring and had plans to go up there and talk to him in person, but things happened and I didn't get to go!

What tactics did Dudley use that make people hate him so? Was he snagging trophies like Mike Long?

He drew a late boat, and knew that he was gonna have issues with the weights. So, he opted for a defensive strategy, and hooked into bass that he knew were gonna get caught up during practice times. Hoping it would throw the bass off, and not bite to anyone who got there early. Some took it as dirty, but, he had a good strategy, and its all part of the game.
My wife says she is gonna leave me if I go fishing one more time........lord how I will miss that woman.

by all accounts I've ever heard, this is mike away from the camera and getting one on one with people.

I met Mike at an elite tourney on Harris about 10 years ago. He is a super nice guy and will chat with you about fishing as long as you want to stand there and listen. Plus he is one of the best fisherman I've met.

Still I can't stand watching him on TV. I'm not sure if it's an act, or he is just that high strung, but he really gets on my nerves with his screaming when he catches his 2 pound "giants."
