Sounds like a bad deal on plug or more than likely the shaft.

Check to see if some discarded fishing line got behind the prop. If so, it probably took out the prop shaft seals.
I'd replace ALL the seals, prop shaft, drive shaft, shift shaft, and the oil fill/drain plug gaskets. Might as well do a water pump kit while you're in there.
Not hard to do if you're handy with tools. Several youtube videos on how to.

Looks like shaft is bent, walt is going to look at it. Have not hit anty thing hard, but bumped some stumps on  Hooston.oldjim

I saw you spinning your prop after the tournament Sunday.  That sucks that the shaft is bent.

Not positive that its bent, Walt thinks ins may not cover it if it is . Going to be ouch if not ccovered!!
He is going to look at it Monday.

Got my boat back replaced bent shaft (ouch), water pump filters etc. walt was great to work with, gave me a print out of my motor only 137 hrs. see facebook for more.
