Demopolis lake has become the pressured waters of the Tenn/Tom Black Warrior rivers below Pickwick.  Why? The 15" limit has worked and the smaller bass have had a chance to grow, tournaments have been releasing back into the waters and in turn, more fish year after year, but be careful and go by the rules

The lake is governed by two entities Alabama Game and Fish and Alabama Highway Patrol, you'll see both emblems on different boats, if you get stopped by the Patrol boat, they want ask to "see" your catch unless they have a reason to think your over limit or illegal, the other will always want to look in your livewell.

I fish Demopolis many times through the year and have been for years, it's really turning into an awesome river lake!  With two rivers coming together, you can find a ton of different cover, and the fishing is getting better and better, but with that comes more and more fisherman, tournaments, traffic, so be safe out there!

What's your take on Demopolis pool?  If you've fished it for years, I'd love to hear
