To cap off my unique fishing vacation, I chose 27 to wrap things up. I met up with FG again at 1pm. Besides one other trailer, the ramp was empty. Taking advantage of the 0 fishing pressure, we idled over to the first finger channel, lowered the TM, and went to work. On my 3rd cast boom!! A healthy 4lbr slammed my frog, and right after FG connected!!

In less than 10 min we caught 4 healthy bass that were bigger than any of our Holiday catch from our outing!!  ~bb ~bb

A pattern was quickly established and we were catching bass consistently early on. But as the outing wore on, the bites began to die down!!  :'( :'( FG threw all kinds of combinations of baits and patterns, and I changed things up and threw SB's and speed worms, and only caught 1 little bass.

I decided to go into "frog sweep" mode, and slowly established another pattern. I stayed in this mode for a couple of hours, and by that time it was 6:30pm, how luck should have it, we finished our outing where it started, and called it a day. Checked the the fish counter and we boated 30 bass. Not a bad outing.

@ FG, I had great time and appreciate you coming out with me 2 days back to back. You are a trooper.  ~c~ I know the Holiday trip beat you up, as it did me.   lo lo

Thanks for reading!!

Thanks for the report.

What is "Frog Sweep"? Are you making up a name for a technique or is there an actual technique with that name?

Thanks for the invite Loul! He had them dialed in on the frog bite I had a hard time getting anything going I think I got 6 out of that 30, missed a few ones that got me tied up in the pads.
Even though I was beat up from the day before had a great time being on the water and usual we had alot of good laughs.

WTG Lou and FG.  Now you need another vacation to recover from the last one.  Lots of hours on the water!

Thanks George. Truth be told, I'm fine. Apart from family vacations, this has been one of my best personal vacations in really long... long.. time. Mind is clear and I'm rested.

I also forgot to report, the water levels on 27 have dropped 1 to 1.5 feet since last week.
