Hello I have recently purchased a Pro Team 195 Tournament Edition. I am planning on putting a CMC PL-65 HS jack plate on it. I was wondering about how it should be installed positioning, etc. The jack plate has  8" of travel, the motor is a 150 Pro XS 4s.

Congratulations on the new ride and welcome to UltimateBass!  ~c~

If you're asking which holes to use on the transom, I'll leave that for a 195 owner to answer but, typically you're going to want your prop shaft somewhere between 2.5" and 4" below the pad. I can't imagine ever needing to raise it higher than that unless you put a jet drive on it.

It should come with the necessary bolts but you may need to buy a tube of GE 5200 sealant to seal around them. If you're installing yourself, be sure to use a torque wrench and torque to specifications.

Show us the pics if you do it so others that have that boat will learn how and make it easier for them.

Welcome to UB.

Quick question... can jackplate's be installed on 195's or can that void the hull's warranty?

Either way, they are very nice looking boats. We love pics around here.  :) ~beer~

You'll have to read the fine print, I don't trust salesmen.

True, and when I build the boat on the Tracker site, JP's do not show up as an option as they do on other tin boat brands options. A power pole bracket and option does appear however. Maybe the OP has been told told differently.
