Solas Scorpion Series 3 Prop

for those that like for your boat to run its best this S3 series prop from Solas is just pretty awesome.  i tried one to replace the yamaha 25p that i ran on my Basscat and with the S3 i had to drop to a 23P.  they turn that hard.  the one thing that i had to tweak on my own was to drill out the exhaust relieve holes.  they are 1/4" to begin with and i went to 3/8 on them  and hole shot is pretty decent.

even going down to the 23p, i am still only turning it 5600 rpm with my 200 efi.  i most likely can see more by plugging some water holes and bumping the motor up, but i do not race anymore.  here is the real deal with this prop.  it is running right at 100%, no slip.  at 5600, it is running 67.9 mph.  you do the math.  at 4000 rpm it is gps 46.7.  unreal!!

the icing on the cake is you can buy this prop for under $400.  quite a bit cheaper than a Fury.  lift(the entire boat, not just bow) and handling is unreal.  check them out.  they might be just what you are looking for.  they also have a high performance 4 blade.
