Claytor continues to win. The weather system jumped ahead of the forecasts by a whole day. Monday was supposed to be perfect however, Sunday was the day to be on Claytor. A small local Sunday tournament was reportedly won with 9lbs!

I launched from the State park Monday morning about 08:30. Water temp was in the high 40s to near 50 with 5mph wind that picked up as noon rolled around with a mix of sun and clouds. Found schools of Shad down 25-30 feet on the Northwest side with what appeared to be a lunch party forming. I tried NuTech Megablades and Bombers, Heddon Sonar, Spoons... nothing.

I gave in to the wind and loaded up a little after 1:00.

That's sounds like a bummer day Jim. :surrender: Sorry you didn't catch anything.
