Guess everyone finished up fishing Rocky Gorge for this year since today was the last day of the season? I wasn't able to get up this year to fish it, hope to be able to spend a week next year in Maryland and be able to fish it. Hopefully the work on Brighton Dam will be finished and allow them to open Triadelphia next year on schedule. Have a good winter, look forward to seeing some 2019 reports fromn the reservoirs!

I fished it Thanksgiving morning. Freezing cold and windy. Thanks to my Motorguide Xi5 I was able to keep the boat in one place. My son got a nice 2 pounder!
If you get up here next season let me know. We can meet up.

Will do! A nice way to end the year. Hopefully they will have the work at Brighton Dam finished and they will be able to open Triadelphia up in 2019. I think all the work they are doing is proceeding on schedule.

I'm not 100% sure, but I was told that they are behind schedule due to the record rainfall in 2018.

I just spoke with the project manager on the bridge repair project. I was told the reservoir will remain closed through November, 2019. So you can kiss next year goodbye as well.

Reservoir Runner

Yes, that is confirmed- it will be 2020 before Triadelphia reopens. I figured with all the rain you guys had, it put the project behind.
