All's ready here. Since we'll likely be doing some night fishing I went ahead and upgraded to the new Garmin/Navionics 2019 maps in addition to the Garmin Ultra maps. Lessor chance of any surprises running in the dark.

Dang! I think I'm ready! ;D

one  reason I don't go out after dark:  folks running at night.  on (to them) strange lakes.
lots of 'first timers' on the area lakes.  feels kinda dicey.

I'm actually pretty careful, even with the electronics. I'll get on plane but 30-35 is usually my comfort level.

just keep tabs on stuff.  they do tend to shut down current and I imagine that might change things up a bit.

but it does look like weather's about the heat back up for coming week.

very little rain for past few weeks.  supposedly fish are transitioning to fall patterns.

Should I bring scuba gear in case we have to do a search and recovery?  ~roflmao
There is nothing like sharing any moment outdoors with someone special!

Not to worry TN. I will just bring my Dog's GPS tracker down and put it around Matt's neck just so we know where he is when he wanders off. Thank God it's waterproof.

Also, day or night, keep an eye out for kayak fisherman. Most have a flag or three but some don't. There's been an influx of them lately. Nothing against kayaking so keep your eyes peeled.

Most of your nutrition is going to come out of a beer or liquor bottle.
