I bought a few more too. I was cleaning out 15 or 20 pounds of excess plastic this afternoon and discovered that I really didn't need to buy ANYTHING including frogs.

besides the tackle trap there is a store i would recommend if you wanna wait till you get here.  But, yes you definitely need some heavier stuff -- think 3/4

went out this afternoon, nothing worth noting except the water was STILL 88 freaking degrees!! I punched, frogged, swimbaited, jigged, senko'd, crankbait, buzzbait, whopper plopper..etc.  I tried deep and i tried shallow.  Nothing good.  They are still skinny....until that water cools...gonna be tough. 

yall better send some cool stuff down this way. 

Late october/early November is probably better suited.  The only real good thing is I finally wont "miss it by a week" like every other time.

Drove by y'alls accomodations this morning.  Nice places.  Really big area, looks like an outdoor fireplace and several cabins.

I looked at it with Google and it looks roomy enough for all the boats and vehicles.
The website really looked nice also.
