Road to Guntersville 2019

Well folks it seems our friend and Leader Mr. Lee Smith is very much on the mend. He has declared that there will be another Guntersville Rally.

With this being determined it is time to get your rally savings jars in place to begin the process of putting some cash aside to cover your cost of attending this very special event. This event will mark the coming together of the lost tribe of bass anglers who could not get together during 2018. Now is the time to make your plans known. As you think of your vacation planning for next year don't forget the rally. Most likely it will be the last week of September but I am just speculating at this time. Save up some money, Get your time off planned and obtain your kitchen passes.

So here is the deal, If you really want to attend a rally, this is your chance. You have an entire year to make your plans and get ready. Don't wait until the last minute. If you want to fish a world class fishery, spend some time with your UB Friends and have a few days of laughing, eating and maybe some adult beverages and even you can participate in the moons over guntersville photo or perhaps maybe even the very special porch pee. You will not be able to forget the wake up pots and pans call to arms each morning. I have a hunch that this event will be extra special. You never know who might just show up.

ok maybe I can make this one. Barring in changes in my work schedule, I get off September 18th for 2 weeks.

Steve, I believe that the likely dates will be September 25-29. The tournament event will be on Saturday of that week Sept 28th. The rest of the time is doing rally stuff and some fishing. Most folks will arrive on Wednesday and leave on Sunday

Well I know I have been wanting to make one of these and if I start saving now and if my strength holds up and if I can borrow some fishing stuff from someone and if I can get someone to pick me up at an airport somewhere and if I could get a back seat on someones boat I sure would love to make the one next year.

Lip I think we can arrange a back seat and finding you some equipment won't be a problem If you can stay healthy and save up a bit, I am sure we can make it happen. I would imagine flying out of Midway you should have tons of available flights into Birmingham. You got plenty of time to get it all scoped out. It looks like Southwest has non stop flight on that route midway to birmingham

When we set a date for it I will have to start looking into them flights a little closer and start start my rally jar now.

Yelp Midway is only about 10 minutes from my house in heavy traffic.

We need to make this one a reunion as well as a rally!

It may be asking too much but, I'd love to have Bo show up too! Of course, he'd bring two rods, about four NuTech Lures, and open up can a whoopass on us.
