Air temps 77-81, Water temps 84-87... Partly cloudy with a Southeast wind at about 10 mph. Water level around 657. Water clarity 2' on the main channel, clear to dingy to dirty in the tributaries.

Only fished about four hours today- helping a friend pre-fish a tournament for tomorrow. Everyone says the bite is off, and I say it's just typical September, except the water temps are a month ahead of schedule.

Because I was "pre-fishing" I did not stick too many fish. Well, about THREE too many-

And because I'll start practicing next week for my own tournament homecoming, that's about it. Except.

You'd better be around shad. Of course, there's a LOT of shad...

Peace.

Man, you have a severe case of "bass hands".  It takes years and years of bass chewing on you as you hold them to get fingers like that.
