What are some of your favorite baits for peacocks? I'm far from an expert  but some of my most successful peacock baits are:

Rapala Skitter Pop in black and silver
Yozuri L Minnow in black and silver

Believe it or not, I've caught quite a few including my biggest while drop shotting for largemouths in the crystal clear water of S FL. Maybe the little worm up off the bottom is attractive to them? I wonder?

Let's here about your favorite baits!

Capt. BassinLou

I have had a lot of luck with jerkbaits. These custom painted jerk baits from a local tackle shop really can get an active Pea's attention.

Spooks will catch me some monsters. Then, theres the ones that think they are monsters. Lol

My wife says she is gonna leave me if I go fishing one more time........lord how I will miss that woman.

Spook is awesome, they love topwater lures. Small inline spinnerbaits work, I've caught a few on jigs as well.
Many times with Peacock the key is persistence. Mess with em till they get so damn angry they lash out and try to eat the lure.

I'm an Xrap tosser! I have had lots of luck with white with a bit of orange or red.
Drinking Rum before noon makes you a Pirate not an alcoholic!

Smallie_Stalker

I've never fished for them but I remember seeing many shows where they were targeted.

Many of those anglers used large double prop baits like the Woodchopper.

Have any of you guys tried something like that?
