Prayer Request For A Family Member

Found out yesterday that my former BIL (sister's first husband) had a stroke Wednesday night. He has always been more like an actual brother to me and we have stayed close all these years.

If you could add an extra prayer to your list or send out some positive thoughts his way it would be very much appreciated.

Thanks everyone. His speech is slurred but he is able to communicate some. The docs still don't know how much will be permanent but they are confident with some rehab and PT/OT he can improve so that's positive.

Thanks for the update Jim and if everyone could add my 98 year old mother in law to your prayer list. We had to call an ambulance to take her to her hospital last night at 2:00 this morning. We had her on oxygen and monitoring her SPO2 levels her at home and she has had a cough off an don for over two weeks but always seamed to get better after we gave her some cough syrup. After seeing that her oxygen levels were getting to low and we couldn't get them about 79 % we call and had her taken to the hospital. My two daughters who came in form out of town for the weekend went with her and it turns out that she has Pneumonia and they have her hooked up to an IV with several Antibiotics to fight the infection.
